The EL-R series has evolved from the best-selling EL series through the addition of remote sensing and multiple digital meters. The remote sensing can be easily switched and the four digital meters provide a higher level of accuracy whilst maintaining a straightforward bench power supply user experience.
There are eight different models that are offered in the EL-R series which cover single, dual and triple outputs and include a range of power from 30 to 130 watts.
The EL302RD and all other EL-R series models have a true linear regulation function for sustaining a steady voltage and therefore giving the most precise performance. Due to the outstanding load and line regulation, these bench power supplies have a great transient response and low noise levels too.
On every main output, the EL-R series includes a separate current and voltage meter with a fixed resolution. The current meters run at a resolution of 1mA and the voltage meters have a resolution of 10mV. This allows for readings to be more accurate compared to auto-ranging digital meters that change the decimal position as the reading fluctuates.
Each main output of these bench power supplies provides remote sensing that can be switched on or off easily. This function is crucial for obtaining a true meter reading of the load voltage and also for preserving the exact regulation needed at the load. Power supplies that do not have a remote sensing feature will often supply regulation readings that are not possible or are inaccurate.
