Double Millivolt Meter for checking Impedance Bonds.
 
The model TKL3850 is assembled by Tracklink and is a Double Millivolt Meter specifically designed for impedance Bond circuits. 
 
 
Features of the Millivolt Meter:
  • For use with Impedance Bonds
  • Accuracy better than 5%
  • Specifically designed for traction circuits

 

Double Millivolt Meter (DMV) is used to look at DC traction Currents flowing in the Running Railto ensure the impedance Bonds are working correctly. The Double Millivolt meter is used to check for Traction balance to understand what current is flowing in each of the running rails. So, the DMV can be used as a fault finding tool where suspect impedance bond or impedance connections are failing or have failed in conjunction with RT/E/PS/11765.

Below are just 2 tests that can be carried out using this simple but invaluable Double Millivolt Meter instrument.
