Flux AWS meter - 0062/006670

This gold flux meter has been specifically designed to check the strength and polarity of any British Automatic Warning System. Tracking is possible with both electro and permanent indicators.

High-grade magnetic iron components are used in the construction of the moving iron mechanism. The movement is housed in an aluminium casing which is completed with a hammered paint finish. For this particular product, gold is used for standard strength inductors and our green version is for extra strength inductors.

The inductor strength is given by a pointer moving over a coloured scale as follows:

  • Green is used to indicated that the inductor is in good working order.
  • Yellow is for indicating that the inductor is below normal strength and requires attention.
  • Red shows that the indicator is in a dangerous condition.

Polarity is shown by the letters P and E which are used to indicate the current polarity of permanent inductors P and energised electro inductors E.

Each indicator is supplied in a leather carrying case to protect the instrument.
