Renowned for providing extremely tough cases, the Pelican iM2720 is one of the most resilient on the market. Designed to transport high specification tools, instruments and other devices that need to be kept safe and intact when moving from one location to another, the iM2720 is engineered with a unique HPX® high performance resin which makes it stronger than other storm cases.
It is designed using an open cell core and solid wall construction which is durable yet lightweight. The case is made with strong stainless steel pins and flush hinges for extra strength and long-lasting durability. The inside of the case contains an injection-moulded foam to provide protection and stop the contents moving around. It is watertight thanks to the micro-porous Gortex membrane which allows air to pass through, but liquids, dust and dirt particles to be repelled. The in-built Vortex® Valve regulates air and temperature inside the case and is fully automatic so nothing needs to be manually adjusted.
Not only is the case built with resilience in mind, it is easy to carry or roll-along with its telescopic handle and built-in wheels. It can be taken on an aircraft as it meets regulations that allow the case to fit into the hold. It is easy to open and close with the Press & Pull latch which has a quick release and strong, snap fit which is released at the push of a button. Another great feature that provides extra comfort and ease of use is the over-moulded, cushioned handle which offers a soft grip and is double layered.
